Ron Hassey
Reacher's brother used this as an alias in S1. Hassey is the only catcher in MLB history to catch two perfect games. He was behind the plate in 1981 when Len Barker blanked the Blue Jays, and again in 1991 when Dennis Martinez perfected the Dodgers. In the series Hassey is mentioned as a Yankee. He played for the Bombers in 1985 and part of 1986. From an offensive standpoint, this was Hassey's most productive period. Here endeth the lesson.
