Jesse Plemons could've lost some weight!

I just wanted to say that it felt weird seeing flashbacks with Todd looking very different than the way we last saw him in the finale. And apparently it was just his weight. Everything else could be fixed with some make up or cgi.

Everything else looked perfect. We all know the actors are older now, but that's not something you can fix going back in time (even though, there's always make up and computer graphics). Losing weight, though, is totally manageable! Come on.

Do you agree?

Jesse just had a baby, and probably gained weight by sympathy snacking with his wife during the pregnancy and breastfeeding period. I'm sure he'll lose it in time.
His size didn't bother me - he gave an amazing performance.

That's a good explanation. I didn't know that. His size didn't bother me at all. I think it even matches the role a little better. Todd should be a chubby guy, imo. What bothered me, though, was the fact that his appearance in the movie is very different from what he looked like in the series. And it all takes place in the same period of time. Those flashbacks were from that time just before the season finale, where he was thin.

And I totally agree with you. He did give an amazing performance as always. I love him.
My favorite scene was that drive to the desert where he's singing calmly like a psychopath... hahaha

I was already distracted by the fact that Pinkman had gained some weight overnight (while being held captive)... but holy crap it was nothing compared to this.
