I guess so much time has passed and I did not go back to rewatch the series before this that I didnt connect with it like the original series. I thought it was ok but not really necessary nor adding much more to the original story. This just didnt have the same feel and intensity as the original.

shareThat's kind of what I hate about these one off movie addons years after the fact. It can't ever come close to approaching the original. Deadwood did the same thing earlier this year and it sucked.
But with considerably lower expectations in tow I thought it was fine. It would have been cool if they did an encore season instead IMO.
