Did anyone else have trouble trying to see what was going on during night scenes? Or do I need to get my TV calibrated?
sharenot sure, but I have noticed a lot of new movies have exceptionally dark scenes, I have turned my contrast and brightness up but then that ruins the daytime scenes.
shareI turned all the lights off. You need a dark room to watch this. It’s slow but atmospheric and really transports the viewer back in time. I could have done without the modten day prelude but I understand its role in the narrative.
I’ve seen Meek’s Creek as well and see a trend in the director’s style…
