Not a bad movie, not equivalent to the 2000 movie, somewhere below 7 stars is my rating

A continuation after the death of Maximus, with more crazy emperors on the throne. Reality could be more crazy than this movie, who knows. The actors were OK and the director knows what his doing. Overall a good watch just don't expect anything close to the original

The fight scenes were pretty fun! Casting of Paul Mescal was pretty good. He looked and acted like someone that the young Lucius could end up being. I enjoyed the dynamic with his Mother too.
I didn't really buy into Denzel's character rising to power that quickly though.
