Ridley could never find a man as great as Russell. He was magnificent. He lived and owned that character. He gave an image of what it is to be an actor.

Mr. Ridley is drunk and pathetic from decades.

He ruined Noah in the name of history while creating a fantasy thing.
He ruined Napolean, by making it into something else.
He created a garbage out of Romulus.

This movie was 80% same as Gladiator part-1. Scenes were same, scripting of those scenes were same just the faces got changed.

Those 2 she-male kings of rome, like seriously?

And the last scenes of that emotional speech ending with "what say you", seriously? You are going to use the iconic dialogue of Lord of the Rings?

The Noah movie was Aronofsky
I agree with the rest of your post though

It's quite sad really, to watch Ridley Scott deteriorate in front of your eyes.
I mean, I think to this very day that Blade Runner and Alien are masterpieces.
The first Gladiator movie was great, but that was probably the last truly great movie he created.
Some of his later films at least kept a portion of his visual talents but Gladiator II, I'm afraid wasn't so fortunate in either department.

I would say his best movie is The Last Duel, which was released just three years ago.

Not giving it a try, just the name Ridley is enough for me to back out now.
