Don't they base estimates on pre-sold tickets?

First of all, I think they just started pre-selling.

Secondly, "The Hollywood Handle" is hardly the sort of website can access pre-sell information. That is something only access media such as "The Hollywood Reporter" or "Variety" have access to, if they are not telling then it is not a good sign.

And I checked both, they are not saying that.

$240 million budget supposedly.. The movie needs to make at least $600-800 million to be in profit

I would be shocked if that happens. And I liked the trailers so far and I love movies like this. But historical epics like this don't make money like they used to.
