I just saw it. It doesn't look good. Not because it's woke, but just because it looks cheap. You could argue that having Denzel Washington, a black guy, in such prominent role is what makes it woke, and that's a fair argument, something definitely feels wrong about it, but on the other hand it is Denzel Washington and the original also had a black guy in pretty prominent role. The only other thing I saw that might be a potential issue is a woman dressed like warrior. It was only a brief scene and she was dead so I don't know the context. But yeah, at best it just looks like a mediocre movie that pales in comparison to the original and at worst it is just more woke trash that tarnishes the reputation of the original.

Terrible! Denzel is playing the same character he always does, but in ancient times? Com'mon man, lolol! At least put on a different voice. He sounds like he just came out of "Training Day" and landed in ancient Rome. TOTALLY out of place!

Yeah, I learned some more information about this movie and it's definitely Woke. It turns out that Denzel Washington's character is based on an actual historical person and that person was definitely not black. https://x.com/Impperatore/status/1807865449176269083
And after watching the trailer again, I saw the Warrior woman again and she fighting and shooting arrows. It's woke as fuck. More woke diversity and inclusion trash.
Race swapping, girl boss feminism, social justice themes. Uuughh.
When will this bullshit stop, I can't take it anymore? I hate Wokes with every fiber of my being.
