I just hope it's not a rehash of the original. You know the plot is something like:

Lucius is the emperor who is loved by the people. The corrupt praetorian guard and some big bad guy murder his mother, spouse, and any children while they overthrow him. Lucius somehow escapes to the far reaches of the empire and thought to be dead, he becomes a slave, gladiator games are renewed, he fights his way to the top to faceoff against the big bad guy at the end to retake the roll of emperor.

an ancient wizard comes down from his tower into Rome and goes to Maximus's grave to resurrect him from the dead! but plot twist when Maxiumus come back to life with this wizards dark magic he is no longer the same man who wants justice and honor he is a zombieeeee!!!!!!!!!!! oh my fucking GOD zombies are everywhere in Rome holy fucking shit!!!!!!! then some super troopers from 2234 come back to Rome in there time machine with badass guns and missles and all sorts of narly shit and start fucking shit up!!!!!!

It would be great if Zombie Max was able to gain access to the time machine.

ohhhh shiieeeeeet now that would be a fucking badass way transition in Gladiator 3! Roman zombies in modern day new york killing and maiming everyone in sight!!! that would make some badass cinema
