Why would it fail?

Most people have zero interest in these characters. Black Widow has a chance, since it's a beloved characters. Those ones? Nope.

reply

You don't speak for most people. I'm looking forward to it.

reply

I dont think you have anything good to say about anything, this will be very popular

This is going to be a TV show, so it's normal that it will have lower-profile characters than the movies.
"Agents of SHIELD" seems to be doing just fine.

reply

It's true that people aren't as interested in these two as they are in Captain America or Iron Man, which probably means that this won't have anywhere near the budget of the "Avengers" finale.

People see Marvel films because of the strength of the Marvel Brand, and it is strong, because they really do deliver fun films consistently. So if the reviews and word of mouth are good, it'll make plenty of money, and if they've kept the budget down, it'll make a nice profit.

Marvel is like Burger King: it works because it's predictable, repetitive and addictive... but after a while people miss real food. That's already happening, and it's the reason why the Joker had such success.

Not to say Marvel started to inject woke doctrine in the franchise. And while some people may like it, most people won't like politics with their cheese burger.

Unless they are bringing Cap back, this sucks.

I don't care if it's a different actor, Cap needs to come back.

They could reactivate the formula in his body and he regenerates like Dr. Who, and we get a new Cap. If not this is going to be a bunch of people all fixated on Cap, with no Cap.

It's like one of those crappy TV shows about Batman, but with no Batman in it. I refuse to watch.

^THAT MY FRIEND IS WHATS CALLED HITTING THE NAIL ON THE HEAD...

reply

Thanks.

The Batman shows are I guess, but don't know, due to low budget, but probably also not wanting to ruin the brand.

Marvel movies have no reason to do that at all. I would THROW money at Chris Evans if they want to continue the Cap stories. The comics always sucked when the main character "died" and all of that crap. You knew he was returning and it was just an annoying wait.

Movies don't get made once a month, so what are we to do, wait 6 or 10 years for Cap to come back? I will be dead, lol.

Like I've said, regenerate him, get a more muscular actor who is better looking, and get him back in the story, or give up. I thought the cap movies were the best as the were serious and enjoyable. I wouldn't let them die.

THE WHOLE LETS MAKE TV SHOWS THAT CONNECT DIRECTLY TO THE FILMS AND MAKE YOU SIGN UP FOR OUR STREAMING SERVICE IDEA REALLY BOTHERS ME FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.

reply

Yes.

I signed up for Disney because I thought the Star Wars show was going to be a series, it was eight episodes.

I have streamed some of the DC shows and they were okay, but I am not signing up for anything else. They made me was to download it because they are fucking with me. I will do that if I feel like I'm being ripped off. I should have done that with Mandalorian.
