sharewell yeah esp when there were belts (like the original version of the book). Those looked so uncomfortable. Come to think of it, if they already had diapers with adhesive in the 1960's, why couldn't there be adhesive pads earlier than the 1970's.

shareWas the book revised since its publication in 1970? I read it recently and was surprised by the peel and stick pads as I remembered those coming out later in the '70s. We were definitely using belts in 1973.
shareyeah Judy Blume revised the book. I read a version mentioning 'belts' and I had to ask my mom what they were talking about.
