I grew up doing the same thing. My parents said we were Methodist but we never went to church. For some odd reason I went to a Catholic school for a year. At 17 was struggling with deep depression and a psychiatrist I saw suggested a Christian school because I said I had doubts about God. There I met a friend who became my best friend. I then knew I was Christian. But by then I was 17 not a young child like Margaret.
Dear Margaret,
1. I'm horribily misogynistic. Read the Bible if you don't believe me. But I'm also omnibenevolent, because I say so.
2. Your period (which I gave you) will make you suffer every month. Because I'm so omnibenevolent that I want you to suffer every month.
3. When you give birth, you will suffer so horribly that you will wish you had never existed. That's a fair punishment because your great-great-great-great-great-(insert some more great)-grandma ate an apple I had told her not to, so now all her female descendants must suffer. And that's abolutely fair according to my justice for some reason.
4. There are countless psychopaths out there who will rape you (or other girls like you), because they have tumors in brain who make them child rapists. And guess who gave them those tumors. Me! Because that's what an omnibenevolent, all-loving God does.
