'Vikram' starring Universal star Kamal Haasan in the title role continues to create a tsunami of movie collections. The film has recently joined the Rs 350 crore club. Released on June 3, the film grossed Rs 353.55 crore worldwide in 16 days.

According to trade sources, Vikram's grossed Rs 153.90 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 26.25 crore in Telugu states, Rs 18.55 crore in Kerala, Rs 34.10 crore in Kerala, Rs 8.70 crore in Restof India and Rs 112.05 crore overseas in 16 days. The film grossed 176.20 crore shares (353.55 crore gross) worldwide in 16 days. The movie, which has a pre-release business of Rs 100 crore worldwide, has already brought in over Rs 70 crore in profits to the buyers.

Vikram, who has done 7 crore business in Telugu states, became a blockbuster with huge profits of 15.03 crore shares (26.25 crore gross) in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 16 days.

Meanwhile, 'Bahubali-2' (2017) has been the highest grossing film in Tamil Nadu for Rs 147 crore for five years. Now Vikram has become an industry hit, breaking that record.
