So she got a lighter sentence due to a plea deal where she would testify against nick.
However nick was never arrested, so would they still give her a lighter sentence even though she hasn’t testified against nick?
I think she would have been under contract to testify against him in exchange for a lighter sentence and protection in the interim, and if/when he was caught her testimony would be the main thing to convict him.
Whether he was caught or not is out of her control so if they want her to testify when he IS caught, she gets the plea deal/protection.
