Raised By Wolves ... on second viewing
When the second season of Raised by Wolves, RBW, came out, even though I didn't really care for season one very much I watched it. It added some depth and a plot and tied the series down a little bit to where I as a view felt more oriented towards what was going on, the characters, the conflict, the plot, etc.
Now, I decided to go back and watch season one again, and it is like watching it with all new eyes ... not necromancer eyes or anything, but it was a lot more interesting and I realized with all the stuff going on screen in the first season there was a lot I missed that I picked up on in the second viewing.
I'm still critical in that this, so far, does not really tell a story so much as lay down bait to hook viewers on, like LOST, or other shows these days. These shows are great while you are watching them, and then when they end you realize it was all just nothing. I don't accept that and I don't like how it is accepted so much by the public, and done so much by the studios.
However, I have to admit, RBW, is a lot more interesting the second time around.
