Egoyan's best film since Exotica
What a pleasant surprise this was. I've seen most of Egoyan's films, and this was probably his best since Exotica. It is also somewhat of a return to the deep psychological character studies of his earlier films like Exotica and The Adjuster. I thought the themes relating to one's family of origin, childhood trauma, and guilt were profound. The critics are wrong about this one.
