In my opinion, it'd been better if the episode count was lower & the run time longer. Cause it's 9 episodes with 20+min runtime. The episode lengths are infuriatingly short.
Do you guys agree that it would've been awesome if it was four or five, 45-50 minute episodes? Or nah?
The length is perfect. 30 minutes with credits. It would drag even more if they were longer.

I understand they're going for that perfect sitcom length initially for the effect, but since they had those "commercials" inserted into the "episode", they could instead use those commercials to be a space between two twenty minute "episodes" of the fake sitcom and give us say 5 almost hour shows.
shareFor one thing I am against the way they broke the theme. I wish they would have kept the pattern going and just let the things going on outside just be vaguely hinted at. The suspense and sense of growing uneasiness would have been much better than the info dump we just got that kind of demystified things and made them feel like more generic Marvel stuff.
That said, the length makes sense so long as they stick to the sitcom episodes. They felt about right. When the time did come to get into the meta stuff then yes, go to one hour length. Once you start getting into things we deserve a one hour show. Since this is streaming there is no reason you can't have some episodes be 25 minutes and others 60. The problem with keeping it at 25 minutes (the credits are obnoxiously long) is that once the season is over we might have 3.5 hours of content. Hardly a "season" even by modern stingy standards. I feel like any resolution to this will feel absurdly rushed.
They have 7 decades to do in 9 episodes. #4 was SWORD.
So far the lengths are: 27m, 34m, 30m, 34m. That includes almost 5m of credits.
The most annoying thing is last 2m of credits is dubbing for several countries!
