2/10 spoilers

Isn't matthew Modine's wife in the film look like the same age has his daughter's character? lol

Anywoo, the film was a complete mess, but I did like the Village approach vs the Inbred copy cat of the original, but still nothing too spectacular and cheesy lines and unrealistic scenes. How you get off the damn trail and can't find your way back so quick? lol. The villagers who i call them actually committed a murder by killing two of the groups. The tree log that kills the one guy and an arrow to the girl who fell in the spike hole. So them putting the group or Adam on trial for murder is a bit misleading when they also committed acts of murder. I didn't get why the old guy and his bar buddies was even in the woods if they gave the dad a beating. I understand one of the bar guy mentions he lost his nephew 6 years back. Alan McElroy wrote a better film back in 2003, but his screen play was awful with these characters. Even the cheesy sequels were a slightly better.
