People missed the point (spoilers)

I cannot understand why this series is getting such a bad rep. Thankfully I watched it before reading any reviews, looking at its ratings or watching the trailers. I basically went into the series knowing nothing and I think that's a reason why I enjoyed it. I had no expectations. I found this to be actually quite entertaining and thrilling. After the first 2 episodes, the plot kicks in and it becomes pretty good.

I see a lot of complaints about the acting being bad. But the thing is, its done purposely as part of the plot. For those who watched long enough, you would know that the actors on the "island" are in a simulation. Meaning the characters are acting unknowingly and acting like that due to it being a simulation.

Maybe I'm biased because I have been a fan of Natalie Martinez for a while but this show isn't nearly as bad as these critics are saying.
