This show takes a leap away from common sense in order to accept.

I'm only in the first season, but characters aren't coming forward with important information when they should, people who should have other people's backs in times of emergency are conveniently absent, and drugs / dreams seem to happen an awful lot to help keep the balance between faith and science. Some of the coincidences are just too much to stomach.

That being said, I am interested to see where it goes and if they can keep from jumping the shark. I do like how the show is episodic, but they seem careful so far to keep events from one story to another connected. And who can say no to watching Katja Herbers for hours on end.

I started watching last month. I'm about halfway through season 2. It's engaging, but yes, it cheats a lot. They've backed WAY off the dream stuff, but there's still a lot of withholding information that people would share in their situation. The elevator episode is very good, but the ending pissed me off so much because they left it ambiguous, but revealing the truth is basically tjeor purposes. To not complete the story or bring it up again besides how it scared a cast member, is cheap shit.
