Evil 2.1: A New Hope

The new hope is that this season takes us even deeper into the heart of darkness, and that hope is being provisionally realized. There’s a very blood scene involving 1 of Kristin’s daughter that I wonder if it would have made the cut on CBS network. There is a bold confession to a heinous deed by 1 of Our Heroes that was hinted at last season. At 1 point I thought I heard Kristin refer to “my fucking mother.” Turned out to be wishful thinking on my part. They are succeeding in making us hate Leland more than ever, and he’s getting stronger at manipulating The Team. He’s kind of a nerd Joffrey, like whom the actor playing the character is doing a bang-up job. I’m disappointed they’re not releasing the whole Season all at once.
