Great premise, awful execution

The premise of an overeducated underemployed young assistant in an office pit sure sounds like something straight out of Kafka. Unfortunately the movie fails to convey anything meaningful and basically has no real plot. The only thing it has going for it is Julia Garners angelic timid face. Total dud, not sure why revewiers are gushing over it.

edit: and it was cool to see the guy from spin city.

I disagree. I thought it was really well done. There is a plot to the film. It just isn't explicitly spelled out, but there is a lot going on in the background.

the movie was boring. lots of stuff in the background? the boss was cheating...ok very original.
