I just saw the movie for the first time and I was adding up the ages. Assuming Greatnana had Harlan at age 15 she would need to be 100 years old!

Maybe a little over 100? Not hard to believe either way.

There are thousands of people over one hundred years old. It's completely plausible that Harlan's mother could still be alive.
