Better than the low rating

Not that it 's great, and it is slow developing, a turnoff to many, while Mandy Patinkin is over the top. But the premise is good, and the two sisters play off their differences nicely. There's Jen who dresses like a hooker, boobs practically falling out of her low-cut tops and skirt barely covering her ass, vs Hannah who dresses like an early member of the Comintern.

Then there's Dodge, Jen's twelve-year-old daughter, who's growing up fast, resents her mother's every action, and has some nice comedic moments.

And at its core, it has charm, especially when the reveal comes at the end at how their estranged mother has actually had a hand at keeping the sisters cut rate, ramshackle playhouse/abode afloat from behind the scenes. I enjoyed it, once I got past Mandy's ravings, and rate it at around a 6.5.
