Enterprise-G - A New Legacy
Glad it ended with a bang the way it did. The usual trope we see was to bring old established characters back to sacrifice or kill them off so the new generation can be shown the light. Instead we see them retire with the old crew playing cards and having fun. Perfect send off imo.
I'm not sure how I feel about the USS Titan being rechristened as the new Enterprise. It would've been the perfect time to introduce a new ship class or the name given to the most advanced or powerful flagship in the fleet (traditionally but excluding Ent-C). I suppose since it's a Constitution III-class ship, we're going back to basics.
I wonder how La Forge was able to weaponize the Enterprise-D considering it was in the museum which would have it decommissioned for the most part. Must've called in a few favors or something. It's weird how maybe all the ships in the museum have kept all its tech and armaments intact since they did steal the cloaking device off the HMS Bounty.
Sucks we didn't get a small cameo from Kate Mulgrew as Admiral Janeway, just more Tuvok which I am fine with. If they wanted to go crazy with the budget they could've also had Starfleet request assistance from the Klingon's and Romulan's like the good o'l Dominion War days.
How come the Borg only assimilated the ships but not the Starbase or the humans on Earth? It's weird considering they had all that time to prepare and infiltrate. Did the mutilated Queen forget they need them to procreate? The Starbase didn't even fire back to try to disable the ships armada. Pretty sure a UFP Starbase is stronger than Deep Space stations defense wise.
I knew they couldn't get rid of Q that easily. It's sort of a homage of retconning the first two seasons.
