What do we know so far?

-Old STNG was set in the 24th century and this will take place 18-20 years after events left in the old series in 2399 (after Nemesis movie and just 2 years shy of the 25th century).
-Doesn't want to be in uniform (unless in a flashback).
-Nostalgia characters to be introduced throughout the multiple seasons if allowed but contact with Picard will be somewhat short.
-Has a new number 1 (dog most likely) that won't be joining the journey.
-Data (died in ST:Nemesis https://youtu.be/0GOumoL4MIQ?t=3m22s) and 7of9 are present in the first season along with Riker (directing episodes of the series as he did with Orville so you'll know it'll be good) and Troi (married to Riker). Hugh aka 3of5 also makes a return and I would surmise he has a big role with his individual being to what his borg cube now looks like.
-Looks hella better than Discovery although I still enjoyed the series to some extent. It will be totally different from Discovery.
