Probably another Sony failure

Sony should stop making these Spiderman universe without Spiderman movies, unless they allow Feige and company to do them. Really Kraven is more of a supporting or one off villain. He doesn't deserve a movie. Maybe a streaming service special like Werewolf By Night but not an actual movie. Sony could then do more specials with Chameleon, Rhino, Shocker. Shorter shows used to introduce their characters which unfortunately Marvel can't use in the movies.

Marvel is still paying for the legacy of its financial problems during the 1990s which compelled it to sell so many of its IPs to various different studios.

Of course it would be much better if ONE single company had full control of ALL Marvel's characters (then again, looking at WB/DC, that's no guarantee of quality/a coherent shared universe), but Sony has got to be Sony, and puts its greed before all else.

I think if it was structured as a 'Venom-verse' then they'd have something to build upon.
