Two episodes in..

I guess this is ok so far, it’s very ‘soap opera-ish’.

I’m really sorry to be so critical but i find the husband intensely annoying. He gets more screen time than the wife who is the one in space! Everytime I see him I can’t help thinking of him in Dead Poet’s Society lol. Hilary Swank is also immensely annoying, I don’t know what it is but I just don’t like her as an actress. She seems to like this space stuff. Perhaps her and her character will be more likeable further on in the series, I hope so. The daughter gets a lot of screen time too, I know they are just trying to pad the episodes out but still.

It turned my stomach seeing the husband and wife having sex, does this even happen anymore? Especially when you have a teenage daughter. Maybe I’m speaking from personal experience lol.

One other thing - we don’t need another ‘Lost’ where we get countless flashbacks to the characters in their former lives. It can get very much like a soap opera when you go down that road.

The rest of it doesn’t seem too bad, we shall see though.
