shareNo signal, no phones. And if you remember Simon and his girlfriend tried to leave, but didn't make it out alive. The villagers had everything planned out well just in case their guests decided to get out of there quickly.
shareYes they tried to leave way too late, a day or 2 after the jump. The whole lot of them would have got out together if they tried straight away like i originally posted. All the men were old. They would have been outrun.
shareActually Simon and his girlfriend were really the only two that wanted to leave. The rest of them had their own reasons for wanting to stay even after the two old people died. Also, I don't think that it was that long after the deaths that Simon and his girlfriend wanted to leave. Regardless whether they all tried to leave, they weren't going anywhere. This whole thing was planned out way in advance by Pelle and the villagers.
