I don't know how I got into watching this movie so long. It was pretty lame. This is the kind of movie where if you could actually find people like this they would to be as nice and charming as the Hollywood stars playing them, and their circumstances would be far worse. A hoarder like Ronnie was would have psychological problems that would manifest a lot worse than in the movie, and Ed's SHTF thing is a right-wing nut thing and he would have had guns and weapons all over the place. Terrible movie ... 3/10. An hour and a half just to sneak in a little joke at the end.

There are hoarders who are exactly like Ronnie. A lot of junk and clown paintings, but not filth and mummified cats in the fridge.
There are people like Ed who don't have weapons all over the place. In one shot of Ed's storeroom there was a rifle.
Ed's fears are not "right wing nut". Think about the asinine hysteria in the spring and summer of 2020, with people lining up outside stores for hours to buy flatcars of toilet paper. Imagine how bad it would be if there was ever a real crisis.
