Yeah... she just has those custom-made components in her home. They didn't have to go from design to fabrication and manufacturing at all. And then she is surprised about how they actually work and all of their features. There's no way a device can have a function, feature, or method of operation without someone designing it and programming it to do so. Also... there would be a team... usually, design is separate from programming... then manufacturing, etc.
