Why Does It Go Nuts?

Naturally, you know that M3GAN is going to completely lose it at some point. It's a killer doll movie. But, WHY does it go nuts? There should be something specific that makes that happen. Code that makes M3GAN protect the person its paired to at all costs. Safety parameters that get hacked into and compromised, something specific. It being built on code that started out as code that ran a military robot. But, since there is none of that, it's basically: The doll goes apeshit because the doll goes apeshit. Also, the four-foot plastic doll is Terminator-level strong. Wondering how that happened.

I thought it was basically of that. She accuses her creator of writing her AI code with no understanding of what it would eventually lead to.
