Sorry to see it end
It's been a good show.
But we're lucky to have gotten 3 seasons instead of only one, it seems, so that's the way to think about it.
There were a few oddities about the third season:
- There's talk of a secret lover who is never actually revealed.
- The story between Tom and Mary with the destitute people suffering from illness seemed more drawn from Dickens than Austen.
- This story seemed like it could have been written a lot better. It played the same note for much too long and then was resolved in such a cliched way.
But overall there were a number of good and interesting storylines that came to satisfactory conclusions.
