Why doesn't Miss Lambe eventually forgive and show some gratitude to Sidney? After all he was right and she was wrong about the main controversy between them.

I was wondering the same. After all, he did save her life. Otherwise she would have been Beacraft’s love slave. She should show him some gratitude.
