In a film full of shocking scenes, the sight of the US Army using the city as a training ground takes some beating. Not only have they have to put up with their water being poisoned with lead and a callous Republican Governor not giving a damn. They also have a Democratic President fly in for a photo -op pretending to drink the city's water!

If you are poor, regardless of your race, you are guaranteed to have the worst health care, law enforcement and education. No one gives a damn about you. Which is why the poor areas of your city can be used as a live action version of Call of Duty.

This was the part of the film Moore covered the best. I hadn't even heard of the Flint, Michigan water crisis or US Army training in the city until this film. Horrible inconsiderate people on both sides of the aisle are responsible here. Take your family and get out of town, or drive to the Great Lakes with a large container, fill it up with water, then drive home, because that lake water will be more safe than whatever the heck lead pipes they were using within the city.

Agreed it’s best part. I HAD heard of the Flint water crisis — even read Michael’s demand to the governor to resign — and I still knew nothing, including the cause. He built his own private pipeline to the flithy Flint River to replace the perfectly good lake water and then charged the nation’s highest rates for poisoned water? Why in hell isn’t that asshole in federal jail?

And it’s still going on?
Where is the FBI?

We now know why FEMA isn’t there.

Those scenes of Obama’s stunt-water drinking (and then denying the stunt) were sickening.
What a weasel and a fraud.
And I voted for him.
Twice.

That was appalling.

I don’t appreciate Moore calling it “racist” (along with everything else today). Definitely taking advantage of the poor and their perceived political weakness. That happens wherever they can be found, and not just blacks — though clearly they are a majority in these Michigan cities which have taken an awful lot of insult for decades.

I don’t understand how that governor and his henchmen are not sitting in a federal jail cell today.
I’d like the army brass responsible for that area to explain what they think gives them the right to do this in civilian areas without permission.
