"Conners" lost 26% of viewers in its second week
In it's second outing as the revamped sitcom "The Conners", the ABC show lost 26% of it's viewers from it's premiere last week. ABC was expecting a drop (it faced off against game 1 of the World Series) but not one as steep as that, according to TV insiders. It also lost the title of #1 show for Tuesday night, with NBC's hit "This Is Us" in the #1 spot (which was down one-tenth from last week, holding it's own against TWS).
By comparison, the second episode of the 'revived' "Roseanne" lost 16% of it's audience from it's mammoth debut last Spring.
