What do you suppose has happened to Rosanne in this take on that world?

I'm guessing she's tucked away in jail or something similar, a West coast writer's fantasy against a vocal Trump supporter. The possible charges?

1) She backed up her car and ran over lil' illegal Llesenia who was drinking water from a puddle, not killing her of course but metaphorically not seeing her and endangering her, and her people, as a consequence.

2) She won a holiday to South Korea and has ended up in a prison camp in North Korea via some absurd series of events.

3) Roseanne had been using the restaurant she and Jackie ran as a means of tax evasion and money laundering for an international crime syndicate (Based in Russia).

Regardless of where she is or how she got there we get updates about her situation from her lawyer, played by Kathy Griffin, and much hilarity is had at her demise.

Any suggestions from you as to where she could be or why she's not in the show now?

The season finale of Roseanne had her scared to go under the knife for her knee operation, and the last time we see the family together is dinner before the operation can happen. More than likely the operation somehow killed her. At least that's how I would write her off. It'll be better than how "Kevin Can Wait" and "Two and a Half Men" handled the deaths of their main characters.
