This might have been my favorite musical movie of all time. The songs were great, the comedy was funny, and it was surprisingly dramatic and emotional in some scenes. Are there any other movies like this that combine comedy, drama, and musical?

It was great . . .and pretty much one of a kind. Moulin Rouge comes close, very funny in parts, over all dramatic and awesome music. It is set in France during their Nouveau period.
