So let me get this straight.......
The Krauts lost countless lives during trench warfare and battled for every inch and then decided to try to TRICK the Allies into thinking they retreated miles back.
Hoping the Allies would happily walk into a bigger trap?
Why didn't they just set the forces up WITHOUT moving back?
Wouldn't the Allies figure out it was a bad idea going over the top after an initial test wave, thus undoing the whole trap?
