91% audience approval vs 0% Rottentomatoes
This is why I don't trust the idiot critics.
shareAnd the media aren't biased. Uh huh.
shareAudiences are biased too.
Everyone is biased.
If you're looking for unbiased people, GOOD LUCK. In that scenario I would also suggest reevaluating your entire outlook on the concept of bias.
Enjoy altering your entire worldview and escaping from the ideological prison you've put yourself in.
It will be interesting to see what the scores are for Michael Moore's upcoming anti-Trump film, Fahrenheit 11/9. I have to believe that they will be substantially higher than the score for Death of a Nation.
What I think would be most interesting would be to screen these two films back-to-back. It would be an exercise in how the documentary form can be used to support two diametrically opposed viewpoints.
That would be an interesting study indeed.
share'Fahrenheit 11/9' has 82% and is described as "a political call to action that ranks among [Moore's] most effective works." As an anti-Trump film, it was never going to be anything but acclaimed.
Just filling in the blanks.
Well, DSouza described it as a bunch of theater arts majors trying to evaluate a work of history. They just don't have the knowledge base to make an informed judgement.
shareSetting aside the critics and the reviews for a minute. Why was this film not more heavily attended? I heard advertisements and promos constantly on the local radio station but the attendance was so sparse. I just don't understand.
D'Souza made the media rounds and it was talked up in all of the right places but few people showed much interest in going to SEE the film. What gives? It also lacks an international release schedule?
