Maybe he likes their reviews.
I have found them to have the most unbiased reviews on many things (ironically..despite the publication name). They've dared to like things and not like things apart from the pack ...

I'll also add that (even though romance films is one of the last things I look for) I watched a few and they were charming and uplifting.
I watch enough dark and gritty so it's a nice change.

Hey, I am not hating - I just noticed that he's been posting Hollywood Reporter reviews under all the new productions lately.

This particular show sounds interesting, I was planning on watching it this weekend.

Although speaking of romance films: I remember I just loved Love Actually first time I watched shortly after it came out. I tried watching it again earlier this year, and it was so unrealistic and saccharine, it kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps my tastes have changed since then, or perhaps it's a matter of a movie not aging well.

I agree, I too found it generally charming and uplifting. I'm weary of dark and depressing.

No I am not. I like to post reviews and trailers from various sites.

Heres my review.... This first season was a bit tame, but had some good actors who had some great acting moments. Its a bit too hokey with the music tugging at the heartstrings at times, but worth the watch, and worth seeing the 2nd season when it comes about.

I prefer "Easy" on Netflix. Same premise, but grittier, and not all happy endings. Some touchy subjects. More diverse and more complicated. If anyone watches it, I would like to know your opinion on it. I loved it.

Modern Love needs some tweaking but its just the first season. Seems the ratings were good enough for a 2nd one.
