‘Bob Marley: One Love’ Has More Hearts Over Valentine’s-Presidents Day Stretch Than ‘Madame Web’, $30M+ To $20M+

The audience for this is older people and stoners. Reggie was was a fad 50 years ago.
Madame Web has a younger audience, mostly female and under 30. The projection below seems backwards.

Moviegoing is slowly getting back into fashion, with Paramount’s Bob Marley: One Love biopic seeing an estimated $12 million on Wednesday. That’s a record for a movie playing on a midweek Valentine’s Day, besting the $11.6M made by the 2012 Channing Tatum-Rachel McAdams romance The Vow.

Midweek Valentines record feels like a cherry picked goal line that has never been a benchmark before. Not new to this movie, but something I've heard more recently, regarding somewhat meaningless benchmarks to give the impression that a movie is doing well.
