I agree. I'm so tired of retconning old characters and storylines. Can we just leave it the way it is? Mandalorian has Fett alive and Luke appear. It's like, can we just leave these characters the way they are, or the way they were intended and move on and do something far in the past or future? I mean there's a whole galaxy and loads of "legend" source material. Is it so hard to create something new rather than exploiting old characters and stories. Now we have the rematch of the century when that was clearly not intended by Lucas in the original films or story. There is so much material yet they continue to make the SW universe seem miniscule.

Rogue one, the Mandalorian and even Solo are good.

I will accept everything inbetween until Return of the Jedi. After that, is milking the franchise to the brim. Lots of Knights of the Old Republic stories to tell, the beginning of the Force, Mandalorians etc.
