ZeroZeroZero overall was great. The action was great, the story telling technique was well done and the story is pretty bleak.

First and foremost the lighting of the show was really dark. At lot of it is hard to see. There are some parts of the story that I found muddled.

It is unclear to me what Stefano La Piana's scam was. He clearly wanted to take out his grandfather for killing his father, but I don't really understand how sabotaging the drug shipment would do it.

The shipment marked the return of the old Don as a leader. Stefano wanted to prevent that so he could kill him without objections.

the shipment of coke was a joint bulk buy from several families and clans from Calabria, it wasn't for a single buyer, the grandpa the old Don was the one in charge of this order, so if the delivery failed he would be executed and his grandson could likely take his place, because he was young, international and understood the "new world" compared to his grandpa and the other families and clans in their small Calabria town.
