Season 5 - Day Of The Dead

Loved watching it. Day of The Dead is a classic. I had to get myself Shudder once I learned they were showing it. I had to see it. I’m a big fan of this movie. It was great to see the three surviving cast members on the show - Lori, Terry and Jarlath. Still alive and kicking. It was very nice to see them talk about the movie.

Although, I felt that Joe Bob didn’t go deep enough into the movie like he did in the past with other movies like Halloween franchise, but it was fun and interesting. Still learned a new thing. I’ve been hearing about the name Greg Nicotero before, (from The Walking Dead) but didn’t really know who he was. Wow, it was actually him playing one of the soldiers in the movie who got his throat ripped by zombie - awesome!


I’m only wondering why Joe Bob never mentioned the amazing soundtrack or even give John Harrison credit where its due. I think he did a wonderful score which complimented this movie a lot. Very atmospheric score. I’ve been listening to it non-stop on Spotify paired with World War Z game, great stuff!
