This is pretty terrifying

Way more scary to think your child can be a monster, than to see vampires or zombies or slashers. The young actor was just great at portraying this. Even before things got over the top, I could see in him what I've seen in real teens.

There is a backstory with another family member that gets unveiled as the movie goes on, and I don't know if that helps or not, I guess it is a plot device.

I kept seeing mentions of this film in a Found Footage horror fan club on FB and yesterday I finally got around to seeing it. It's a good one in the genre for sure, and strikes a nerve in those of us whose greatest fear is that our child has the potential to hurt people.
