Just wasn't going anywhere for me. I rarely give up on movies, but I didn't like any of the characters, didn't laugh one bit at the "bubbles factory" or massage.

I'll stick with a movie if at least there is an attractive female lead, but that wasn't happening either... SIGH.

No! You totally missed out. Not only was there a beautiful actress showing up about 25 minutes in (and stuck till the end) but the story turned out to be way more amazing than what the first 15 minutes made it look like.
