I'm not a Rob Zombie hater. Not at all. And I must say, I'm a fan of The Devil's Rejects. Initially, after watching the trailer, I was kind of excited about this film. But after watching a few clips on YouTube, now I'm not so sure. The dialogue seems horrendous. There are so many bad things I could point out. I'm not too optimistic now and hesitant to watch it.
For anyone who's watched it... what's your thoughts? Am I just being too harsh?
ITS A DISTINCT STEP DOWN FROM DEVIL'S REJECTS...IT HAS ITS FLAWS...ITS STILL QUITE GNARLY AND WELL WORTH WATCHING THOUGH.
shareIt’s a pretty terrible, less entertaining rehash of Rejects. And Sherri Moon has managed to get worse at acting and Rob is even worse at writing for her.
If you LOVE Rejects, give it a watch. Personally, I have no interest in watching Rejects ever again. I love House of 1000 Corpses, though.
Sheri Moon's acting seemed pretty awful too, I must say. The writing just seemed extremely lazy.
And I recently just gave House of 1000 Corpses another viewing. It's actually a pretty unique horror film, and it gets a lot of unnecessary hate. I've seen much worse. It was creative, bizarre, and different. I'll give it that.
