Im not much of a star wars fan except for the original trilogies.

Its a fantastic show , has that magical Star Wars vibe to it missing since 1983.

It's probably the best thing in Star Wars since the original trilogy.

It's a bit overrated, though, probably because of the general lack of quality in the prequels and the Disney sequels, so anything with a minimum quality was going to be highly overpraised. This is not close to the original movies, in terms of quality it's more like the Clone Wars series with better CGI.

The Mandalorian is a good show and well worth watching.
