Do people understand the gravity of having Werner Herzog in this?

Max Von Sydow could have be treated and used like the legend he is in the DT.

A great director, but not a particularly great actor. He kind of just comes across as comatose in this, and his voice is so ingrained in my brain from films like Grizzly Man that it's a bit immersion breaking.

He contributed his director skills here, apparently.

He called them "cowards" for wanting to CGI baby Yoda.

Then he reportedly started actually talking to it.

The guy's brilliant but nuts.
